Gospel Mission of India (GMI) is an indigenous Christian organization committed to evangelism, church planting, healthcare, social uplifting, relief operations, education and discipleship ministry. This organization was founded in 1993 at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. With a mission to spread the love of Jesus, this ministry was initiated as a joint venture of two great missionary leaders, Rev. Scott Alan Norlings and late Rev. Dr. P. N. S. Chandra Bose, called “the Duo of GMI”. They believed that any trustworthy ministry flows out of being with Jesus and who we are in the depths of our being.
Gospel Mission of India functions as a facilitating body, a network of Jehovah Shalome Church, Bethel Bible College and Shalom English Medium School. Our educational intuitions are training centers positioned to equip future leaders of the country.
India is one of the most religiously diverse nations in the world. This country needs the liberating truth and power from the message of Jesus Christ. Therefore, GMI is committed to training young people from diverse cultures in India. Bethel Bible College is equipping men and women to serve in cross-cultural missions in India and around the world. Every year BBC trains and sends pastors and evangelists into the mission field.
Our schools and other educational institutions work among the less privileged citizens of India without discretion of caste, creed, color, or sex. Moreover, GMI aids poor people of India with relief, education, and development all in the name of Jesus.

Who we are?
Gospel Mission of India is a God anointed ministry called to impact India with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It subscribes to the basic mandatory and scripturally identified perspectives of ministry to bring holistic transformation in the lives of all people in the nation of India.
Our Vision
India may be saved in the name of Jesus Christ and the blessings of the kingdom of God may be experienced tangibly by all people irrespective of who they are and what they are in the sight of the world.
Gospel Mission of India is committed to proclaiming the Gospel to every citizen of India by Word and Deed with the prayers and support of friends, churches and ministry partners around the world to see the lives of the deprived are transformed spiritually, socially, educationally and economically by the love of Jesus Christ.
Our partnership with International Ministries
Gospel Mission of India partners with ministries around the world which are passionate about taking the Gospel unto the uttermost part of the world endeavoring towards the fulfillment of our Lord’s last commission of taking the Gospel to all the nations and disciplining all people as recorded in Matthew 28:19.
Gospel Mission of India works as a catalyst in India facilitating International ministries and organizations with local support, assistance and partnership in organizing crusades, seminars, special events and works of charity with a spirit of commitment and an attitude of organizational transparency.
We have the privilege and joy of organizing massive Gospel crusades with great men and women of God with international credibility like Dr. T.L Osborn; of Osborn Foundations; Dr. Mike Francen of Francen World Outreach; Dr. Dick Bernal of Jubilee Christian Centre; Dr. Pat Robertson of C.B.N International and Dr. Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries.
We have had the joy of organizing Samaritan Purse, OCC program of Dr. Franklin Graham in India for 10 years whereby we reached several millions of children all over the country with shoe boxes. The former Prime Minister of India, Honorable Sri. Manmohan Singh was one of the distributors at the program. This program has interpreted the love of Christ to millions of children tangibly.
After facilitating many international ministries, Re Son and me have found it necessary to found an indig nous organization of our own in order to facilitate the international ministries that are interested in partnering with us to promote the Kingdom of God in India. This has led us to the founding of Gospel Mission of India in 1993 at Guntur. Rev. Scott Alan Norling was its President, and I was its General Secretary and Chief Functionary. We praise God for He has enabled us to register our organization with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) 1976 which has permitted us to receive foreign donations, gifts and grants to minister in India with all legal rights and privileges. We praise God for His inestimable blessings we are experiencing in our ministry every day. Since its founding Gospel Mission of India has started working effectively and jubilantly by delivering the gospel through Word and Deed.
