It was a spectacular demonstration of God’s plan for reaching thousands and thousands of people assisted by 700 committed Evangelists and Pastors of all denominations. We have rented a full train for seven days to use it in the outreach in 1998. It is the first of its kind in India till today. It has 12 bogies named after the 12 tribes of Israelites. It had a pantry car that would supply food to all the seven hundred participants. It was named as “Gospel Train”. The train was run from Repalli in Guntur District to Srikakulam. The train used to stop at the preselected stations. Before the arrival of the train, the station. authorities would announce saying that, “the Gospel Train will arrive on platform number so and so.” It was really quite an exciting experience. Many Church leaders and believers used to receive us with garlands and slogans when the train would stop at their respective railway stations. The team included Brother Mike Francen, Mrs. Kim Francen, Rev. Scott Norling, Mrs. Melody Norling, Bro. S. A. Daniel and my family. It was really a blessing to all of us. I am ever grateful to Mr. Stanly Babu, IRS, who has helped us a lot in getting the train for evangelism sanctioned. Enroute, we have stopped the train at Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Thadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Tuni, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam. In every town and city we visited, we have distributed thousands of Bibles in our street preachings and in the evening meetings we have distributed saris to widows, blankets to senior citizens and clothing to the orphans. We have also distributed sight glasses to hundreds of poor people whose prescription was received in advance. During the nights, after the crusades, we organized cultural programs with famous and well known artists. I must acknowledge here with a heart full of gratitude the cooperation and help extended to us by all the local Church leaders irrespective of their denominational affiliations. In some places the local Churches hosted us lavishing their love upon us. In each crusade Bro. Mike Francen and Rev. Scott Norling have brought very powerful messages.

They have touched the lives of thousands and thousands of people with the gospel of deliverance. There were many healings for all kinds of ailments recorded in our meetings. Bro. S. A. Daniel was in fact has contributed a lot in making all the logistical requirements of the Railways satisfactorily. I am grateful to Bro. S. A. Daniel for all his contribution in having the train ministry completed successfully. It is my joy to record my appreciation to Mr. A. J. Siromani, Rev. Prabhakar Vemuri, Mr. Billa Lazarus and Pastor Georg Wilson for their cooperation in the ministry activities. I Praise God for the opportunity He has given to Gospel Mission of India, Rev. Scott’s family and my family to organize such a historic ministry event considered as very unique till today in India.
